Description
|

|
WriteAssist combines the most intelligent dyslexia-oriented
word predictor and spell check with integrated text to speech in one complete package, without placing reading capability requirements on the user. You can use WriteAssist
with its own word processor, or with popular Microsoft Office programs. WriteAssist was developed from consulting with top reading and spelling therapists. WriteAssist is easy
to use, and all menus, messages, and buttons can be read aloud automatically. WriteAssist features real context-dependent word prediction. That means you can even receive word
suggestions without typing anything at all!
Spell check and word predictor can also be customized to compensate for other kinds of typing errors such as vowel
inversion, word pictures (tall, medium, and dangling letters seen as equivalent), phonetic spelling, and your own spelling patterns.
Dictionary Manager features
"quarantine system" for new words. Ability to set your own auto-corrections with Dictionary Manager. Automatic capitalization after a period and of proper nouns (can
be turned on and off).
With purchase of the network license, WriteAssist is installable on students and teachers home computers. This can bring the effective cost per
student down to pennies. Not only that, but with the ability to install WriteAssist on home computers, students are able to practice with more frequency. WriteAssist works
great for students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

Personal License - $119.99 Network License - $499.99
